On June 15, 2011 in Washington D.C., Director General of IFPRI Shenggen Fan shared a set of policy recommendations for the G20 ministers of agriculture meeting that was held from June 22-23, calling them to focus on smallholder farmers to achieve food security and prevent food price volatility.
