The World Economic Forum at Davos last month was a good opportunity for me to engage in discussions that would shape the future of sustainable development, including food security and nutrition. In a recent blog entry in the Huffington Post, I discuss multi-sectoral, people-focused approaches needed to create a healthy and inclusive food system that can help to meet the world’s growing demand in a sustainable manner. In a world where nearly every country is burdened by malnutrition, it is critical to reshape agriculture for better nutrition and health, as well as pursue environmental sustainability. Country-led initiatives, together with support from the international community, will lead us in the right direction to end hunger and undernutrition by 2025.

This is the first of my monthly postings to appear in the Huffington Post blog.
